God Is Everything We Need

Isaiah 65-66; Psalms 62; John 3 

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”

Psalm 62:5-8

There is great peace and inner freedom when we put our full trust in God alone and surrender our lives to him. Salvation is not just solving our sin problem, it’s finding the most creative, loving, just, pure and faithful person in the universe is now your closest friend. We no longer have to defend our personal honor; God will take care of that. We can pour out our hearts to him every day, all day, and experience God’s counsel, peace, and strength. Let us not settle for anything less than this level of relationship with God. He is inviting us to walk with him through life, and for him on mission together.
