The Good News of Peace

Exodus 35-36; Acts 10 

“You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. You know what has happened…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”

Acts 10:36-38

At the heart of the gospel is peace through Jesus Christ. Peace with God through forgiveness of our sins and protection from the devil, through deliverance, healing, and sealing of the Holy Spirit - peace with God and the peace of God. When we experience this peace, we become witnesses to the world of the gospel of peace. We, too, can know and share this message through the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, and can testify that God is with us.

Who are the Corneliuses in our community whom God is preparing to fully understand and experience this gospel of peace?

Will we, too, live on mission with Jesus this day as we experience and share this good news?

“Lord Jesus, thank you for the peace and the power of the Holy Spirit so that we may be your witnesses, for your glory.”
